The progressive Jazz fusion band Ujig has collaborated with the Bow tie Orchestra for ‘Pohjoinen’, this levitating and engaging track is saturated with musical aura.
Milan, Italy Jan 20, 2022 (Issuewire.com) - The fusion Jazz band Ujig has compelled their listeners with their track 'Pohjoinen'. This extremely well-arranged number is one of the eight songs of their album 'Ujigami' featuring the Bow Tie Orchestra from Moscow. This piece was composed by Cesare Pizzetti, Edoardo Maggioni, Konstantin Krautler Horvarth, and Marco Leo. The uplifting nature of this song is undeniably fresh. The band was formed in 2014 when the band members were attending workshops at Berklee College of Music. The sole intention was to form an international group and infuse several backgrounds and experiences in their projects. They wanted to take the fusion part a step further melting the Jazz genre to rock and making original music that will speak the language of the world.
In December 2014 they started recording their first album and since then they have released three albums. And will continue to make more music along with their chosen path of progressive fusion form of musical art. Their latest album 'Ujigami' is saturated with well-composed and extremely well-performed music. Apart from this song they have also collaborated with Fabrizio Bosso in another song named, 'Tano'. They have written and composed the orchestra part of 'Pohjoinen' as well. They also wanted to keep the European touch to their songs and they have exceeded ecstatically in each of their musical numbers. The band has co-produced songs along with Luminol Records. Other songs on this album are, 'Ehiku', 'Mea e Pau', 'Odota', 'Pokemon Shock', 'Yugen', 'Gnawa'.
